Exciting news today! We have outlined each step of this amazing kriss-kross gradient nail art tutorial that you will definitely fall in love with! All you need to get started is a sponge, base polish, peach and baby blue nail polish, polish remover, sticky stripes and top coat. Now, let’s get started!
Step 1: Apply white nail paint as a base colour and let it dry fully before going on to next step.
Step 2: With help of sponge, add four layers of peach and baby blue manicure on a small sponge. To do this, place a sponge on a flat surface and paint a generous amount of the colours right next to each other. Of course, you can experiment with different combinations and see what works.
Step 3: Dab the sponge directly down onto your nail several times to distribute the colours. You can repeat this step as many times as you need to until you have created the desired ombre result.
Step 4: Next up, apply a quick dry clear top coat. As you were pressing the sponge onto your nails you might have noticed that you were getting the nail polish not just on your nails but also on your fingers. This creates a sloppy and unprofessional look. While waiting for the layers to dry, clean up all the excess using a brush dipped in acetone or polish remover.
Step 5: As shown on the picture, place sticky stripes by creating an ‘X’ right at the top of your nail.
Step 6: Now, paint over the top of the nail with dark grey nail paint colour and let it dry fully. Once your nails are completely dry, you may carefully remove the X stripes.
Step 7: Now, you’ll need to apply a top coat to help the nail polish last longer and to keep it from chipping.
