Baking Soda for Foot Aches
After a long day at work, especially if you’re standing, your feet probably ache like crazy. Add 3tbsp. od baking soda in the bath and soak your feet for 10-15 minutes, it will soothe the pain and relax your feet.
Listerine against Foot Fungus
Your favorite mouthwash, Listerine, has some pretty amazing anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties which make it an excellent remedy against foot fungus. Add a quarter cup of Listerine in a warm foot bath and soak your feet for 15 minutes.
Tea against sunburns
If you have nasty sunburn you can use ice cold black tea to alleviate the inflammation. Boil a batch of strong black tea (3 bags) and let it cool down at room temperature. Transfer it in to the fridge and leave it for a few hours. Take it out, soak a towel in the cold tea and apply it on the burnt areas. Repeat it for a few times to alleviate the sunburn.
Cool Out a Burn
Working around the kitchen often leaves us with burns and aloe vera is an excellent natural remedy against such problems. Apply it on the burnt area and let it work its magic.
Repair chapped lips
Olive oil is a great remedy for chapped lips, just rub it on your lips a few times a day to moisturize and soften them and repeat the process a few times a day for a week. Olive oil has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that will hydrate your lips and help them regenerate faster.
